Tricéleris, a neutral FTTH (Fiber to the Home) network operator backed by Teset Capital, has selected Optare Solutions as its strategic IT partner. This marks another step forward in the execution of its strategic plan to become a benchmark operator in Spain’s FTTH infrastructure market.
The partnership between Tricéleris and Optare Solutions falls within the scope of the Rubicón Project, a strategic initiative to position Tricéleris as the leading TIER-2 neutral FTTH network operator in Spain. The primary goal of the project is to develop a comprehensive digital platform that enables efficient, scalable, and customer-oriented network operations, as Tricéleris continues to expand its footprint through both organic growth and acquisitions.
Miguel Ángel Jiménez Izquierdo, COO of Tricéleris, stated: “This project will provide Tricéleris with enhanced capabilities in customer and contract management, automated service provisioning, integrated billing, real-time network monitoring, and efficient network rollout management. Our collaboration with Optare Solutions will accelerate our growth plans and reinforce our commitment to delivering cutting-edge fiber infrastructure services across Spain.”
Tricéleris is positioning itself as a preferred neutral network platform, offering high-quality FTTH services to multiple Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in an agile, flexible, and scalable manner. Optare Solutions was selected as the technology partner due to its deep expertise and proven track record in the telecommunications sector, particularly in the implementation of OSS/BSS (Operational Support Systems / Business Support Systems) solutions.
Optare Solutions’ comprehensive proposal is based on a modular and phased implementation approach, prioritizing the progressive deployment of systems. This will allow Tricéleris to scale operations while preserving strategic alignment, commercial and operational excellence, and reinforcing technological sovereignty. The solution will cover critical functions such as business support (BSS), network operations (OSS), assurance, and network creation, following best practices and standards defined by tmforum’s Open Digital Architecture (ODA).
Luis Alves, Managing Director at Optare Solutions, commented: “We are proud to partner with Tricéleris on this transformational project. Our team’s extensive experience in delivering complex OSS/BSS projects for telecom operators worldwide, combined with our commitment to innovation and industry best practices, will ensure that Tricéleris has the agile and scalable IT infrastructure needed to thrive in the competitive wholesale FTTH market.”
Since its launch in 2024, Tricéleris has carried out acquisitions of local networks and promoted organic deployments, reaching nearly 350,000 homes passed in more than 160 municipalities across Spain. The company focuses on developing high-quality digital infrastructure, enabling local telecom operators to access fiber networks without the need for heavy investment. In 2025, Tricéleris is strengthening its presence in six key Spanish regions: Andalusia, Canary Islands, Madrid, Valencia, Castilla-La Mancha, and La Rioja.
